In a recent episode of his Chillers Podcast, MacG had accused Dj Maphorisa of being a Piano gatekeeper who is trying all he can to police what goes out in the scene.
He made the statement in reference to a question asked about his forthcoming EP. Not only did he put Dj Maphorisa in a tight position, he also damned whatever influences Dj Maphorisa thinks he has.

Reacting to the false allegations levied on him by MacG, Dj Maphorisa has called out the podcaster for defamation.
“heban @MacGUnleashed wats the problem 💔 we come far boy neva even once disrespected u why this wats the problem????,” He tweeted.
