Over the week, Dj Cleo made a surprising revelation about “Phansi Komthunz’ Welanga,” a hit single by Brown Dash & Mzekezeke been written by Thembi Seete, who never got a share of anything despite the success of the record.
Being that the song was released through TS Records of DJ Sbu & TK, DJ Sbu has come out to clear the air about its true ownership. According to Sbu, Phantsi Komthunzi Welanga was produced by Mdu, written on the spot by Mduduzi Masilela, Siphiwe Mpamile, Brown Dash, Mzekezeke and Sbusiso Leope.
Further debunking the allegations raised by Cleo, Dj Sbu stated that the classic song, was written, produced, composed and recorded in Sandton at MDU Studios in the presence of Mduduzi Masilela, Siphiwe Mpamile, Brown Dash, Mzekezeke and Sbusiso Leope and NO ONE else.
