Kabza De Small is never afraid of trying his hands on new sounds. Today, he does the unexpected as he meshes Old kwaito flairs with piano to create a hefty body of work called “Speak N Vrostaan.” This album is a collaborative effort with Kwesta and according to them, it was made purely for the Township.
“This is an album for the people, We didn’t want to do too much of what we’re primarily known for. We wanted to find something that spoke to both our
backgrounds and kwaito was the most natural landing spot.” Kwesta Said in a short interview with Apple music.
”We could either be stubborn
about what we wanted to do or be honest
about who we’re doing it for. The title is really about wanting what we’re saying to be fully understood by them.” – He further added.
“Speak N Vrostaan” holds ten tracks and it features supports from Professor, Papta Mancane, Ma-E, FKA Mash, Sizwe Alakine, Masterpiece YVK, Young Stunna, DJ Tira, Hulumeni, Toss & Pervader.
