Mampintsha has died days after battling with stroke. Untill his death, Mampintsha was one of the most influential gqom musician and a husband of Babes Wodumo.
The Big Nuz member passed on this morning at the age of 40. His sudden demise has been confirmed by West Ink Records manager Sbu Ncube.
Mampintsha’s Afrotainment records had earlier in the week also confirmed the health challenges of the Gqom veteran in an official statement published on their channels.
“The star as he is affectionately known as Mampintsha, from multi-award winning group Big Nuz has suffered a minor stroke a week ago upon his return from a performance with Big Nuz. He is currently in hospital receiving medical attention and is under doctors observation.” – The label said in its official statement.
