Although a newcomer in the piano scene, Mawhoo has racked up some of the most prestigious awards/nominations and she seems to secure more in the coming years as she pairs with Busta 929 to deliver “Buya.”
“Buya” is an explosive record that meshes together the fine instrumental provided by Busta 929 with Mawhoo’s perfect vocals. Overall, this track is made for the dancefloor thanks to its groove-inducing synths, intoxicating chords, and Mawhoo’s soaring vocals.
“Buya” is our favorite pick from Mawhoo’s debut EP and despite its low BPM, there’s still enough flex in the production to get the dancefloor going.
