MacG has come under fire after his interview with Ari Lennox on the PodcastandChill took a shocking turn. In the interview, MacG overstepped the bounds of acceptable behavior when he asked Ari Lennox if she is currently having a good sexual relationship with anyone, a question which threw the American singer out of balance.
When asked by Ari Lennox why he asked such a sensitive question, MacG referenced a part of her lyrics that was extremely vulgar. Reacting to the video, Ari Lennox has said she will no longer be granting interviews for meantime.
She also said she feels betrayed by Mac G whose production team promised to destroyed parts of their interview that are bit to sensitive for the public to consume.
Ari Lennox is an American singer, performer and music writer signed to J. Cole’s record label, Dreamville Records. She first began gaining recognition after the release of her first Pho EP and ever since then, she has maintained a high profile. She is one of the few female artists that will share a stage with Ye at this year’s Coachella.
