Dancefloor king and self-acclaimed giant of Africa, Burna Boy has cancelled his FNB Stadium Event due to low patronage from South Africans.
Burna Boy’s South Africa concert was supposed to hold this Saturday, September 23rd at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg but has been postponed due to low ticket sales. Of the 90,000 tickets made available, Burna Boy was able to sell 1500 tickets.
Burna Boy hasn’t been on good terms with South Africans following his tweet some years ago where he labeled South Africans as xenophobic. Years later, his statement still haunts his career, but he doesn’t believe any of that. He just posted on his Instagram story that the postponement of the FNB Stadium concert wasn’t due to low ticket sales.
“I was in SA last year and I had 100 Thousand of the most Beautiful South Africans Outside for me, So no dead agenda can Agenda. I will see you again real soon South Africa.” – Burna Boy
