Since the release of “Jola” and “John Wick,” fans have been itching to get a full length body of work from De Mthuda & Da Muziqal Chef. Well, their prayers have reached the high heavens and have just been answered as they duo just confirmed a joint EP is on its way and to be released under the canopy of “Sgudi SNYC.”
De Mthuda is a veteran producer at the forefront of the Amapiano music movement, having taken the genre to the charts with bangers such as “John Wick” featuring Sir Trill & Da Muziqal Chef and “Jola” featuring Da Muziqal Chef & Sinomsolo. Born in Vosloorus, De Mthuda began his music career in 2010 when he was still in High school and eventually dropped out while he was in Grade 11 to pursue music full-time. From 2013 onwards, he delved into the piano sound, making him one few to pioneer the sound.
Maintaining his dominance, this veteran producer and deejay is ready to drop a fire collaborative EP with Da Muziqal Chef. “Sgudi SNYC EP” will include collaborations with Sinomsolo, Kabza De Small, Sam Deep and Mkeyz to name a few. Set to release in few weeks’ time, this project is destined to hit the charts hard especially considering the talents brought together to compile it.
