DJ Maphorisa isn’t a solo producer. Throughout his career, he has always paired with other talents to create magic. Infact, he is one of the few producer with no solo album attached to his name.
Following the success of “Chukela EP” with Tman Xpress, the veteran producer is now gearing for an album release with With Blaq Diamond.
Formerly signed to Ambitious Records, Blaq Diamond which is made up of Ndumiso Mdletshe(Ndu Browns) and Sphelele Dunywa(Danya Devs) are one of SA’s biggest production duo. The duo have made lots of hits and now they seek to strengthen their hold in the music scene as they secure a production partnership with DJ Maphorisa for an album release.
The forthcoming project is still work in progress and we are guessing it will be out before the year finally runs out.
Blaq Diamond revealed the news of their collaboration with DJ Maphorisa in series of Studio Session photos they shared on their Instagram page with the caption: “@djmaphorisa was one of the first few people to believe in us before we were even signed.. after all this time we’re finally dropping something with our OG.”
