Heavy-K announced a few weeks ago that he would be releasing the final installment of his “Respect The Drumboss” album series titled “RTD2023.”
“I’m emotional & happy , proud at the same time , thinking about where I come from with you guys! Seems like it was yesterday when I dropped my first album “Respect The Drumboss 2013” so this year I’m dropping the very last “Respect The Drumboss Album” which is RTD2023 It’s been such a pleasure being with you guys on this RTD journey! But it’s time for new beginnings & heights for the brand “HEAVY-K”,” – Heavy-K posted.
His post was misinterpreted by fans who thought he was quitting music, but Heavy-K clarified that he is not quitting. He explained that he is ending the “Respect The Drumboss” album series, which has spanned ten years. Heavy-K assured his fans that he will continue to produce music until his last days.
“Correction! I am way too gifted to quit making music I won’t stop until the end of time but I am dropping the last “Respect The Drumboss Album”,” Heavy-K said.
