At a time when the demand for the Amapiano sound seem to be at an all-time high, recent production cooked don’t seem to be contain the needed ingredients and essence of a typical Amapiano music. One producer, who however has continued to go against the ugly trend is no other than JayLokas.
Born in Brakpan, Gauteng, the producer is one of the founding fathers of the Sgija sound. Promoting his forthcoming Lokii album, he has delivered to us this infectious mixtape called “Production Mix 021(The Lokii Promo Mix).” In the mix, Jaylokas puts his genre-bending style on full display.
