Makwa’s genuity and creativity comes alive once again in “Makwande,” a twenty-two track project that exposes us to his production range.
A lot has changed for Makwa over the past couple of years, but one thing that has yet to ever waver is the quality of music he produces. His exit from his previous record label came with a big hit on his career but the producer is back to reclaim his lost glory with the release of “Makwande.”
“Makwande” is the last jewel the veteran producer adds to his repertoire, and is certain to break the dancefloors and charts. The project features HitMan Ceo, Benlay, Stino Le Thwenny, Nizzy & Zoey T.
Makwa shared his challenges that led to the creation of the project: “After I left RapLyf records I started mzonkonko records with the hopes of it being the best label in the world but that didn’t happen because of a lot of things I was going through. I released #16S91 and after that I didn’t know what to do next interms of the sound that I wanted to pursue, so I had to take some time to figure out what is it that I wanna do.”
