With multiple heaters under her belt, it is safe to say MaWhoo is Amapiano’s “The Chosen” one.
Mawhoo is currently one of the most sought-after Amapiano vocalist. Her prodigious career began in 2022 with the release of “Ngithakazele” featuring Mfanafuthi Majozi & Thandeka Ngema, followed by Sam Deep-assisted hit single, Thokoza which was released that same year. Since the start of 2023, she explored her songwriting and vocal prowess with several Amapiano & Sgija beats, leading her to become one of the biggest female artists in the modern piano dispensation.
Following the successful release of “What A Time To Be Alive,” the singer is here with her second studio project and this body of work serves as a great introduction to her sound and influences. The album holds 15 hefty tracks that are certainly not for the faint of heart.
