Moja Love has fired the host of their most talked about Sizokthola show. Xolani Khumalo was accused of contaminating crime scene, failing to persecute known drug lords and launching off his own foundation on the back of Sizokthola’s success.
“The channel elected not to continue with Mr Khumalo after raising concerns and questioning him about his knowledge and involvement in the unlawful incidents that led to the possible contamination of crime scenes, failed prosecutions of known drug lords and unfortunate tragedies that followed the filming of certain episodes. The channel also demanded answers regarding the identities of the beneficiaries of his foundation — the Xolani Khumalo Foundation- which he launched off the back of Sizok’thola’s success, despite the blatant conflict of interest it created between him and the show.” – Moja Love said in the statement.
Xolani Khumalo has responded to the sack and has assured his followers that he won’t be backing down from his hunt on drug dealers.
“We are grateful for the productive collaboration we’ve shared with Moja TV Channels and Moja Love, especially in our joint efforts to combat drug sales and usage. However, it’s essential to emphasize that the battle against drugs transcends any specific channel, audience, or censorship. Our commitment to this cause remains unwavering, and it will persist, whether on television or in other avenues. Drug sales and abuse are not confined to any particular channel or show, and our mission to address these issues will endure.
