Pabi Cooper has secured the 2023 BET Awards Nomination for Viewer’s Choice: Best International Act.
Pabi Cooper will be among the first set of Amapiano artists to secure a BET nomination. In this year’s award, she will be up against Nigeria’s Asake, Ghana’s Camidoh, UK’s FLO, Cameroon’s Libianca, France’s Maureen, Brazil’s Mc Ryan SP, UK’s RAYE and France’s Werenoi.
From someone who metamorphosed from a common dancefloor dancer to an Amapiano vocalist, this nomination is a big win to not only Pabi Cooper but the entire Music scene. This year’s award will air LIVE on BET on Sunday, June 25, 2023, at 8 PM ET/ 5 PM PT.
