Nasty C had the hip-hop community on fire in November last year when he dropped “No Big Deal,” a diss track that was aimed at Sarkodie and A-reece.
On “No Big Deal,” Nasty C talked about how he was treated badly by Sarkodie during his days as an upcoming artists and now that he is made, he’s declined several collaborations plea from the Ghanaian superstar.
“When I first met Sarkodie, he wouldn’t shake my hand, I’m not too proud to say I’m still a fan, But I held a grudge and told myself to wait till I’m the man. I’ll never give that man a verse. Two requests over the years and I declined them both, I just made some dumb excuse like I’m in an album mode” – he said.
Officially responding to Nasty C, Sarkodie has released his own diss track called “Landlord.” On Landlord, Sarkodie talked about how he is still the king of Hip-hop/Rap in Africa. He also accused Nasty C of having an Ego while debunking Nasty’s claims of him begging for a collaboration.
“I heard the young champ is hurt am sorry. But any time the highest all you need is just a Marker. Grab an autograph and get the f out I ain’t gotto shake your hand so you can walk out. And so you know it’s not me you fighting your Own ego maybe a couple things you gotto sort. See, I ain’t got no pride to reach out to nobody I love that nigga your ego is so baggy.
Don’t get it twisted am still a fan
But don’t you get carried away am still the man. I never reached out hommie but I know what you doing. Such a smart ass touching the god is part of the plan” – He said on Landlord.
