The music industry isn’t all rosy as some people would want you to believe. While some are really enjoying the fruit of their labours, others are being ripped off by Record bosses and recording companies.
One super talented artists who has been the most hit is Sir Trill. Despite his plenty bangers and chart topping singles, he still struggles to meet up with his financial obligations. Last year, he was at the Podcast and Chill with MacG where he talked about how he was being ripped by Dj Maphorisa.
Well, with plenty legal battles, he was able to break free from Dj Maphorisa’s hold and before the year ran out, he dropped his highly anticipated GHOST EP. Months after the release of the project, the songwriter and vocalist seems to still be having financial difficulties and he is voicing out his pains and struggles.
In a Series of tweet sent out earlier today, Sir Trill again cried out to fans of how damaging it is to have numerous hits and have a penny.
“It’s tiring and mentally damaging. So many hits and I’ve never seen a cent . I’m tired.” He said.

Faced with frustrations, the vocalist has now hinted he would retiring from music.
“Never been an artist that talks much or exposes much . This will definitely be a joke to some of y’all . Which I understand . But it’s mentally damaging and exhausting . What are we working so much for? thank you to everybody who genuinely supports “SIR TRILL”. this will probably be my last tweet,” he further tweeted.
