Artists’ booking details getting hacked by fraudsters is now becoming a regular occurrence. Soa Mattrix has fallen for this unfortunate scam as his official WhatsApp booking account with the number +27 72 149 4947 has been hacked by fraudsters.
Soa Mattrix made the revelation some hours ago, cautioning promoters and fans not to engage with the number so they don’t get scammed. For now, Soa Mattrix can be contacted through +27 63 230 6090 (Bongani, Manager) or by email via [email protected].
Soa Mattrix has opened a case with the appropriate authorities and investigation is currently ongoing.
“On Friday, 24th of November 2023, the Soa Matrix bookings WhatsApp line
was hacked. If you have received any requests for money or assistance
please do not engage with the number +27 72 149 4947. The number has been reported and an investigation has been opened into the matter. Going into the festive season, this has been a very unfortunate matter as we have handled business for the Soa Mattrix brand on the hacked number. We urge all our business partners to refrain from contacting that number until further notice” – part of SOA’s statement reads.
