Amapiano is now the new Afrobeat. Infact when African sound is being mentioned by international players, Amapiano is typically the reference sound. Jumping on the beautiful trend the sound has created, T.I. has delivered to us his first Amapiano track via “VACAY” featuring Kamo Mphela.
T.I. releasing an Amapiano track is a move many never saw coming. But are are surprised? Heck no, even far bigger international players have shown interest in the sound whose melody has captured the attention of the youths. Showing he can flow with the piano sound, T.I has teamed up with Kamo Mphela for this hot track called “Vacay.”
“Vacay” is a typical Amapiano offering with raw percussions and chords. The vocals were delivered by T.I and Kamo Mphela, and being his first jump on an Amapiano track, T.I really did well in blending with the rhythm.
