Springboks has indeed made us proud, defeating New Zealand to win the 2023 Rugby World Cup titles is one of the best gift they could give South Africans.
With four Rugby World Cup wins, South Africa is now the biggest Rugby nation in the world. This is indeed a pride to us all and South Africans are celebrating the occasion like never before. But a day won’t be enough to pour out all the excitements, so citizens are eager for an extra nationwide celebration day in form of an holiday.
Well, this is expected. President Ramaphosa had allegedly promised a public holiday should Springboks return home with the cup, and now they’ve done so, an holiday is what all South Africans are itching to hear.
President Ramaphosa will address the nation tomorrow, 30 October 2023, address the nation and all excited questions will be answered.
