Celebrated vocalist, performer and songwriter, Zahara has passed away weeks after battling with some liver related illness.
Zahara, real name Bulelwa Mkutukana was rushed to a private hospital in Jozi, exactly two days after her Lobola was paid. Initially she was admitted to a medical ward but two weeks later when her condition doesn’t seem to improve, she was then transferred to the ICU where she passed away.
Aged 36, Zahara unexpected demise is another huge blow to South Africa and the entertainment industry. Her death has been confirmed by colleagues including celebrity blogger, Kgopolo.
