Some of the time, artists are better together than solo. While everyone wants a taste of freedom, it does come with a great price which can be disastrous to one’s career. In the case of Amaroto which is made up of Reece Madlisa, real name Clive Tshikosi and Zuma, real name Sabelo Zuma, it’s a case of together for greatness and separation for ordinariness.
It’s been two years since their split and not one hit has been made by either of them. We are talking of the same Amaroto that dominated the airwaves in 2020 through 2021, delivering hits such as “Megalo” with Spura & Classic Deep, “iJob iJob” with Josiah De Disciple & Sfarzo, and “Iy’ntsimbi Zase Envy.”
The split of Amaroto was a result of professional and personal life differences. With their influences on the Amapiano sound gradually fading, the duo are making the efforts in reconciling and they are reportedly having communications through some channels, a source close to the duo told Zimoja.
“They have been talking and trying to resolve things but there’s no final confirmation of them reuniting. They are talking, which is one step closer.” – The Source said.
No official statement from the duo yet about the rumours of their reconciliation but it will do them go it turns out to be true.
