One of the secret prayers of most Amapiano faithfuls is to see Samthing Soweto, Mas Musiq & Sha Sha together on a track and Aymos just made that happen with his newest offering, ’10K Yey’Nkomo.’
Real name Aymos Babili Shili, Aymos has been one of the most significant Amapiano soul singer-songwriter and composer in recent times. Born in Thembisa, the vocalist worked his way up the ranks. He went from backing vocals to session musician, and then appearing alongside Samthing Soweto, DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small on the groundbreaking and chart topping single “eMcimbini.” In a bid to further solidified his place amongst Africa’s vocal royalty, he then released his Bambelela hit single in 2020 with Mas Musiq and Dj Maphorisa.
Seeking to extend his musical influences far outside the border of Mzansi, the singer and songwriter is gearing for his third studio album and to promote it, he’s here with this banging new single called ’10K Yey’Nkomo.’
’10K Yey’Nkomo’ is a collaboration with Samthing Soweto, Mas Musiq & Sha Sha, and it is a track that blasts hard, refined with soulful percussions and synths, which matched with perfect vocal insertion that commands the attention it deserves.
