Sir Trill has been in a war of words with DJ Maphorisa. The vocalist, who is accusing DJ Maphorisa of exploitation, has granted several interviews with podcasters, giving detailed accounts of what transpired between them. While he is outspoken about his plight, his career continues to slide down the ranks. In an attempt to stop the downward trend, he has called on the help of a number of producers for partnerships and collaborations.
In early 2024, he teamed up with Heavy-K and so far, they have delivered a handful of scorchers including their trending ‘Kwenzakalani’ single.
