Brandon Dhludhlu has delivered his long awaited EP and this one will leave listeners breathless. Out now is ‘Mtima.’
Brandon Dhludhlu has proven his vocal prowess in the past, lighting the dancefloors across the country on fire with tracks like “Nhlitiyo,” “Ngilimele,” “Ingelosi” and “Ngifuna Wena (Amalobolo).” With his versatility, it’s become impossible not to get sucked into his musical artistry.
Releasing his first EP as an independent artist, the vocalist has returned with this stunning 6-track collection of bangers called ‘Mtima.’ Mtima is a complete piano offering and this one wouldn’t have been a perfect body of work without the talented producers who brought Brandon’s vision to life, the likes of Da Gifto, Lance Hebron and Jay Sax who gave the project a perfect facial and melodic uplifting with their unique inputs.
“I’m very excited to share this beautiful project with you,” says Brandon. “This is my first-ever EP as an independent artist, and the process of creating it was incredibly fun. Mtima evokes a wide range of emotions —deep reflection, joy, and love. It’s an experience that takes you on a journey through life’s highs and lows.” He added.
Brandon’s top three tracks on Mtima perfectly capture the essence of his artistic journey – “Time” the lead single, is a reflective piece that chronicles his personal and professional growth. “Sojola ini” is a playful yet profound track encouraging listeners to seize love and step out of the friend zone while “Thandolwethu” is a soulful ballad about lost love, resonating with anyone who has experienced heartbreak.
