When it comes to the delivery of hot mixes, Ceega can do no wrong. We have been following this deejay for years and I say with all sincerity that he’s one of the most dedicated curator to have ever emerged from Free State. Getting us something hot for the month of August, the he’s here with this hot tape and this one he tags ‘Meropa 214 (Woolies Music Brings People Together).’
In the ten years Ceega has been in the SA music scene, he has steadily reasserted his name as one well worth considering in deejays to catch up live on stages, and mixes like this is one reason every music lover should look in that direction.
This latest edition of his Meropa session which he tags Woolies Music Brings People Together is a supremely vibey piece that’s enjoyable to listen to from start to finish.
Spanning a full three hours the mix features a selection of tracks that typically make up his sets and also shaped his understanding of House and Soulful music. This is a perfect selection and we are of the believe that when the time is right for those little get-together, mixes like this are what we would blast loudly to.
