DJ Maphorisa has defended his actions of not including Samthing Soweto on the ‘Amalanga Awafani’ single with Mas Musiq and Lawd Weezy.
In a live video aired on his Instagram feed, the notorious producer claimed that Samthing Soweto can’t eat his cake and have it, revealing that when Samthing Soweto recorded his last album on his studio, he demanded 100% of the masters which was given to him, but now that he assisted in putting his vocals on the ‘Amalanga Awafani’ single, the vocalist now wants a percent of the masters, an hypocritical request Dj Maphorisa explained.

Despite the explanations given by DJ Maphorisa, South Africans have continued to mount pressure on Mas MusiQ to include Samthing Soweto in the credits and include his name among the featured artists.
