Fatso 98 & Brandon Dhludhlu’s latest hit single, ‘Ngifuna Wena (Amalobolo)’ has reached 1 million streams on YouTube alone.
Released May 16 through 98th World records, ‘Ngifuna Wena (Amalobolo)’ is Fatso 98’s first release for the year and it is now one of his biggest offering. Aside doing amazingly well on YouTube, the track is also making headway on Spotify, amassing over 700k streams and shooting his monthly listeners from a mere 60k to 120k in less that two months.
With the Amapiano sound currently dominating the entire SA music scene, we never really expected a House offering to take some reigns but the young artists currently permeating the scene continue to constantly suprise us.
So much has come from the success of this hit track, including a tour and more collaborative opportunities for both Fatso 98 and Brandon Dhludhlu to work with well-known local and international artists. Fasto 98 might still be a young and upcoming artists, but we are confident that the House scene will fair better and grow stronger if he keeps up with the selfless act of releasing absolute scorchers.
