Janesh might be a new player in the Bolo and Afropop music scene, but she is one of my favorite people in the scene right now. Shebeshxt on the other hand needs no introduction. He’s considered to be one of the most influential figures in the South African music world and his reigns isn’t about to end any moment from now.
Continuing to build on her catalog, Janesh has blessed her fans with this stunning new music dubbed ‘Jelasa 2.0’ and this one notches another win on his lengthy track record of impressive releases.
The track is a collaboration with Shebeshxt, Abi wa Mampela Bao and Hitboss SA and it’s one that demonstrates a level of versatility and experimentation for young artists involved. Running for over four minutes, this track sees Hitboss SA’s talented production skills and Shebeshxt, Abi wa Mampela Bao and Janesh’s emotive vocals mesh perfectly together, and is hopefully the start of many more collaborations between the trio.
