We are impressed with what N’kay & Nim has so far done with the Kota Embassy brand. With the exit of Tumza D’kota, many had thought the group would collapse, but surprisingly, they continue to bless us with even more impressive offerings. Today, the duo are here with this explosive new EP they aptly tagged ‘Dithapelo.’
Kota Embassy is one of Amapiano’s oldest group. Infact, they were the first sets to breath life to the traditional Kota sound which many of us know today as Amapiano. Formerly made up of three producers but now left with N’kay & Nim, the Kota Brand has collaborated with multiple artists, that has seen them embrace their soul-stirring musical style.
A couple of while ago, they recently released their highly anticipated ‘Storyteller’ single that was electrifying, featuring the production assistance of Sjavas Da Deejay and today, they are here with another lavish collection of bangers and this one they tag ‘Dithapelo.’
This highly-personal release from the Amapiano duo is rooted in the experiences they have garnered in the nearly ten years spent in the music scene. The EP is made up of 5-tracks that was crafted to capture the essence of the duo as a musician and an Amapiano educator.
