Notorious Amapiano hitmaker, Shaunmusiq fly on a solo trip with the release of his long awaited EP, ‘Lendlela.’
Shaunmusiq is one of pioneer of the Quantum sound, a type of Amapiano music that refines abstract elements. As a leading figure, his success and reputation throughout the years have grown immensely with his music. Building on his solo career the producer is here with this two-track EP and this one he aptly tags ‘Lendlela.’
In a world where many music enthusiasts consume music on the go, it’s no longer fashionable for producers to curate lengthy projects. What purpose does releasing a 20-track album serve an artist when only two songs from the project are likely to captivate listeners due to their short attention spans and lack of patience? This is unlike the 90s, when music fans paid close attention to every detail of an album.
To stay afloat in the modern music scene, artists now regularly drop mini projects, that way, they meet up with the hunger of their listeners while also reaping the fruit of their labour. Applying this model of music business, Shaunmusiq has returned with this two track EP called ‘Lendlela.’
‘Lendlela’ will be the first solo project of the versatile producer since the start of his professional career and this one consists of two tracks: ‘Hamba No Moya’ with Tman Xpress and ‘Lendlela’ featuring Scotts Maphuma & Ftears.
