Lizwi Wokuqala’s posthumous album ‘Gamelihle’ is out, one month after his death in the fatal car accident.
Lizwi Wokuqala, who was laid to rest on August 4, had planned to release the explosive project before the unfortunate accident on July 24 that also claimed the lives of Malome Vector and Musa ‘Da Mos’ Nkondo. Gamelihle is Lizwi Wokuqala’s debut project and, sadly, also his last.
Over time, Lizwi Wokuqala’s melodic vocals has only gotten more refined and sweeter to the ear. And this newest EP Gamelihle is a prove of that.
Loaded with six tracks, this EP understands the value of staying grounded in a track as each tune is well-thought-out, pushing out melodies that are a reflection of his happy mood and understanding of life dynamics. We have listened to this project thrice, and if there is one thing we regret not doing earlier, it’s us not paying much attention to this versatile artists when he was alive.
This EP is out everywhere and as we can deduce, tracks on the project are made of dope melodies listeners are in no way prepared for while still hoping they get more of it. The EP is a celebration of Lizwi Wokuqala’s life on earth.
