With the way Amapiano is spreading in the international music scene, I doubt there would be any one who wouldn’t like to tap into the trends. Today, we get a new blast from Hip-hop star, Wiz Khalifa as he teams up with Major League Djz for this new track that will shake playlist. Out now is “Mine For The Night.”
In the 80’s and early 90’s when Hiphop gained prominence in the worldwide music scene, every one wanted to become a rapper. In Africa, artists would learn the curves of Hiphop and integrate it with their local styles to create a hybrid sound, but generally, most sound was built on the Hiphop template.

At the moment, Amapiano has not only captured the SA music space, but it has ventured into international territories and together with AfroBeat, are seeking to dominate the trends. Like in the 80’s, foreign artists are looking to cash in from the Amapiano trend and today, we see Wiz Khalifa seeking to belong as he teams up with our very own Major League Djz for this powerful track called “Mine For The Night.”
