Mashudu is clearly an underrated force in the Amapiano music scene. With the emotions and melodic sense she pours in her offering, it is really sad to see many listeners are yet to subscribe to her sounds. While her followings isn’t bad, we expected more from Amapiano listeners, judging by her enormous contributions to the sound. A monthly listeners of 400k on platforms such as Spotify isn’t what we envision for such a big figure. Maybe a minimum of one million would be enough to show how appreciative we are of her craft.
Continuing to build on her numbers, Mashudu has just paired with Shakes & Les and Kabza De Small for this beautiful new song called ‘Ngempela,’ and this drop sends one’s mind into a soulful verse as she utilizes every key stroke in the music beat to suit her vocal inputs.
The lyrics of the song are truly a superb melodic piece as they encompass everything that the Mashudu wanted the song to be.
