Mdu aka TRP isn’t just any regular Amapiano producer, he is ‘The Originator’ and defender of the Amapiano genre and this he proves in this newest Album.
Mdu aka TRP has been one of the major contributors to the Amapiano sound. His introduction of log drums is still regarded by many as one of the biggest and most innovative melodic incorporation the genre has ever seen. Now, following a wide musical explorations this year, the versatile producer is delivering a dose of his freshly discovered and cooked melodies with this release of ‘The Originator.’
‘The Originator’ is a seven track project, comprising of two instrumentals and five vocals and one thing to note about this release is that it is unlike your typical Mdu Aka Release, as he incorporated lots of powerful vocals on most of the tracks.
Released via PianoHub records, this EP showcases Mdu Aka Trp’s abilities in crafting everything from Soulful piano to sgija and quantum, leaving listeners in a bliss-like state as they transition through the album’s tracks.
