Lady Du pays homage to her ancestry in this Nkosazana Daughter, DJ Khyber & Shino Kikai-assisted track called “Ngwenya.”
Lady Du is one of those versatile vocalist and singer whose offerings are smart, infectious and quality enough to get any party started. She is one of the few vocalist that has been able to work with a long list of producers and still deliver. Whatever is been thrown at her, she has shown the capabilities of digesting and completely killing it with accurate precision.
Over the week, she announced that her second studio project, Underrated is in the works and now she promote the project with this DJ Khyber & Shino Kikai-assisted track dubbed “Ngwenya.” This track was solely produced by DJ Khyber & Shino, and the magical vocals of Lady Du and Nkosazana Daughter made the release a killer collab. Lady Du and Nkosazana Daughter have been seen hanging out lately, and their friendship, not to mention their skills, are what any genre needs to flourish and on this one, they disappoint not.
This track is one of the lead track on the forthcoming Underrated album and we absolutely can’t wait to see what the vocalist has in store for us. Enjoy!
