Born and raised in Soshanguve, musical duo ShaunMusiq and Ftears began their journey in 2018. In 2019, ShaunMusiq transitioned from being a HipHop producer to Amapiano after Ftears taught him how to use piano elements to create stunning beats, thus giving birth to their partnership and collaboration. Inspired by the musical streets of Pretoria, the rapid growth of Amapiano and Bacardi sparked their love for the familiar sound. Within a few years of hard work and dedication, they were able to capture the entire scene with their infectious productions.
