Mixtapes are some of the best way deejays flex their immense tastemaking abilities and curating passion. Ordinary, we don’t rank deejays who don’t regularly drop mixtapes. How on earth do we rate their timing, selection and mixing skills if not through mixes and live sets?
For Simple Tone, there is very little we can scrutinize about his mixes as he has been perfecting his craft for a long time and his Simple Fridays mixtape series is a testament of his curating mastering. Today, he hits us with a banging new episode and it’s infectious.
