Spirit Fest Live Sessions might just be the right corners for those looking for that perfect piano podcast. Just some while back, they hosted the presence of Mrf Souls and now they are back with another episode featuring Stixx.
Stixx needs no introduction. Born in 2023 in Kwa-Thema and Selcourt of East Rand, the producer has always been involved in music. At the early age of two, he had started playing with beats which he make by hitting drumsticks and by the time he got to the age of 12, the multi-instrumentalist had already venture into producing deep house and gospel music.
While many of you know him through the Amapiano sound, Stixx only got dabbled to the sound in late 2020. Before then, he was into Deep House, Afrosoul, neo-soul, and R&B. His professional career took shape after his release of “Ngeke Balunge” in 2021, an explosive EP that introduced his creative abilities to the world. Stixx didn’t yet attain fame after the release of the EP untill he met DBN Gogo and after some studio sessions together, he got signed into her record label, Zikode Records.
The duo didn’t stop there, after bringing onboard Stixx to the prestigious Zikode records, DBN Gogo went on to secure a feature on Stixx’s debut single under the stable “Buya.” And it turn out to be an instant hit.
Stixx was also the brain behind numerous productions on DBN Gogo’s Whats Real Album. His talents wasn’t limited to Zikode records alone as Kelvin Momo sought out his talents and eventually, they worked together on the Amukelani albums.
Continuing to give Amapiano fanatics more heaters, this super talent has paired with Spirit Fest Live Sessions for a lavish mixtape and it’s banging.
