We didn’t get a whole lot out of uBizza Wethu in 2023. Obviously, trying to find a perfect balance within his sounds kept him from releasing much and hopefully, this year won’t be the same. Today, he refreshes our playlist with this infectious new mixtape called “Mhlobo Wenene Mix.”
From his early beginnings as a DJ in his hometown of Gugulethu in Western Cape to playing at some of the biggest music events in Mzansi, uBizza Wethu has cemented his place in not only the Gqom music scene but the whole of the SA music community as one of the most versatile and talented curator and producer.
Continuing to reposition the Gqom sound in the SA music table, he’s here with a perfect mixtape that will force you to rethink your bias against the Gqom sound. Enjoy!
