The South African music scene should be thankful to Big Zulu and his Inkabi records. There isn’t a month they don’t refresh playlists with new banging release. Continuing with this tradition, they just delivered to us this one from Nkabikazi & Big Zulu called “Undodakazi.”
A new face deserves a proper introduction and Big Zulu is doing just that with his delivery of “Undodakazi.” A couple of while ago, Nkabi records announced the introduction of its newest member, Nkabikazi, and as tradition demands, she’s dropping her EP debut and with the assistance of Big Zulu, she was able to deliver a project that is both melodious and catchy.
Big Zulu has established himself as a unique creator within South African music; with a rich and original tapestry of influences, his music sees him explores the depth of AfroPop in a way never envisioned. Continuing to bring more young talents to the limelight, he just make an introduction to the vocals of Nkabikazi and the result is melodious.
Although “Undodakazi” is made of just five records, it’s long enough for you to understand the sounds of Nkabikazi and what she intends bringing to the table in the coming years.
