When Gcina P Nkosi released the amateur poster for his bash party, he never thought it would grab the attention of just everyone.
Although the venue was initially posted as Ngakhabo Gcina, the event will actually take place at Millo Primary School. The teen artist, alongside his peers, promised attendees free food, and the party is expected to run from 3:30 p.m. on December 13 until late into the night.
Despite the poorly designed banner, people were inspired by the young teen’s dedication. Before long, the event went viral on Facebook and other social media platforms, with a well-known brand teasing a possible feature and gig slot.
Celebrities like Kabza De Small, Artwork Sounds and Dlala Thukzin also joined in the trends, and their engagement further swelled the talks surrounding the event.
Already, brands like Red Bull has made some nice sponsorships and donation of energy drinks. Other individuals have also volunteered to provide chairs and musical equipments.
