Danya Devs has just confirmed his readiness to release his debut album, Bayede.
If you are a fan of Blaq Diamond, then Danya Devs is one of artists you should never sleep on. At the moment, he’s one of South Africa’s most exciting vocalist, rising from his roots in Blaq Diamond to becoming a powerhouse solo artist.
While his sound has deviated a little from that of Blaq Diamond, it still follows the core essence of the group’s style, which is rooted in romance, street culture, and soulful Afro-pop. Solidifying his presence in the scene, the rising artist is set to release his debut album, Bayede.
Set to drop soon, Bayede will feature 18 tracks, including previously released records such as “1 Million,” “Family Anthem,” “Asembe,” and “Umuzi We Glass” featuring Nomfundo Moh, Empro, Makhosi, and Kinglee Beats. The album will also include two freshly crafted records, “ESBUKWENI” and “Ola Sbali,” which are scheduled for release this Friday.
