De Mthuda has already proven himself a producer worthy of the radio, with his previous releases still shaping the world of Amapiano. With years of experience, he has mastered every production steps and whatever he currently pushes out are deliberate and purposely suits his production agenda. ‘Mthuthuzeli‘ is De Mthuda’s first album in two years. I know some fans might not be pleased with his slow rate of the album release, but believe me, the wait was worth it.
This album holds 12 records and from start to finish, each track on the project radiates with emotion. Of the 12 tracks that make up the ‘Mthuthuzeli album,‘ only ‘Classic Wave‘ was solely produced by De Mthuda and has no feature. The rest were a robust collaboration with some of the finest figures in the Amapiano scene and they include Murumba Pitch, Major League DJz, Aymos, Nia Pearl, Tman Xpress, Sino Msolo, Mthunzi, Blaq Note and Kabza De Small.
