I love the new turns DJ Hugo is taking. Going fully in the production front while also solidifying his reign as one of Amapiano’s finest Deejay is one move many never saw coming. Just some days ago, he surprised us with the delivery of his 911 album and now he’s back with another stunning mixtape.
We’ve listened thoroughly to this compilation, and I dare say it’s both melodious and catchy. Each beat carries its own tempo and character — if one hits hard, another offers a soul-calming drop that soothes the mind. Then, after a brief turn-around, the listener is struck again with another dose of hard-hitting piano bangers.
With such a dramatic mixtape, you don’t need a soothsayer to tell you that this will bang really hard. “10111 Vol. 35” is an energetic mix that’s filled to the brim with pure Amapiano scorchers.
