It’s not everytime we get a production from DJ Stokie but whenever he drops, it always bang. “Skorokoro 2.0” is the latest from him and there’s no overthinking with this one, just pure piano force wrapped in modern production flairs.
This one is a collaboration with Mkeyz, Sminofu, Zee_nhle & Sobzeen, and it comes from a place of unity and the understanding that the barriers between us start to dissolve if music is involved. The track has influences from Afrobeat, Amapiano and Disco, leading to an output that unifies all music lovers in a euphoric appeal to let loose on the dance floor, no matter what state they are in.
“Skorokoro 2.0” is the third official single from DJ Stokie this year and this one journeys into Soulful soundscapes, featuring a rarely-seen side from the Amapiano stalwart.
