When an artists gets signed into a new record label, the first thing that is usually first done is the release of a project. Following this age-old tradition, Djy Vino has teamed up with his label mate Nkulee501 for this fine collection of scorchers called ‘Jappino.’
Signed into the PianoHub records in 2024, we have long anticipated a project from the versatile producer and thankfully, he makes that happen with this Nkulee 501-assisted EP called ‘Jappino.’
Djy Vino is in no need of an introduction. The young artists is a well-seasoned DJ/producer with a complex approach to music production that continues to impress fans and fellow industry leaders alike. In the few months he has associated himself to Kabza De Small’s PianoHub records, there has been lots of improvement on his sounds, and this is showcased in this newest collection of bangers.
‘Jappino‘ is made up of six tracks that sees Djy Vino and Nkulee501 extravagantly engage listeners with a mystical amalgamation of the various sub-sounds that make up Amapiano.
One record that really caught our attention on this EP is JBL2 featuring Kabza De Small. Not to say that the other tracks on the EP won’t give you the feelings you crave for as well- because they certainly will.
