Djy Zan’Ten has assembled two of their most trusted allies, Musica_Stylist & Amukelani M, in the execution of their newest album, “Zan’Ten & Friends.”
There were some melodic magic that happened when the minds of Djy Zan SA and Djy Ma’Ten first came together to form Zan’Ten. Since launching the group, just a couple of years ago, the duo have done excellently well in their execution of piano productions and their innovative thoughts have led to the making of dominating sub-sounds like Sgija and Sgidongo.
As a duo that are constantly working on their soundscapes, they usually push out releases every now and then. In the last couple of weeks, they sampled their hybrid sounds that merge elements from Private school piano, Sgidongo and Sgija into one and the crowd’s reaction to these combinations was nothing short of phenomenal.
Today, they are giving us a full dose of ear catchy productions via “Zan’Ten & Friends” and this one is made of two discs, featuring 13 and 5 tracks respectively. The Album includes supports from some of Amapiano’s most versatile producers including Lerato Pcee, Mzu M, MJ, Jay Sax, Mellow & Sleazy & Tman Xpress.
There is a sayings that goes; Words are just words, and the real magic is in letting the music speak for itself. “Zan’Ten & Friends” emboldens this thoughts with its 18 hefty records that spreads across 2 discs, featuring raw instrumentals that passes a message with words can find difficult to convey.
