Dlala Thukzin’s long awaited album, “Mayvis” has finally arrived and this one will no doubt add a unique dynamic to the 2025 festive dancefloor and his own impressive resume.
Dlala Thukzin as a DJ, producer, and sound engineer has been instrumental in shaping the world of Gqom music for over five years. While his productions mostly involves the combination of various sounds that has defined the South African music scene, his uncommon approach to music making has brought life to everything Gqom.
Keeping his catalog fresh, he has delivered to us another powerful collection of bangers called “Mayvis” and this one showcases his ability to incorporate a variety of elements into his productions.
“Mayvis” is made up of 12 tracks and it’s a genre-defying album that showcases his signature blend of gqom, amapiano, 3-step, and Afro-tech. It features collaborations with Thukuthela, Sykes, Zee Nxumalo, MK Productions, Funky Qla and Nkosazana Daughter.
