It still feels good that old players like Dzo 729 are still active in the scene. Unlike the newer kids that just follows every trends, long staying players sticks to the right essence and this here is why we do everything not to miss out on their content.
Dzo 729 is one of those unique figure. Following his release of Ba Xolele with Guyu Pane, Young Stunna and Lebo in 2021, he has gone on to adapt with newer sounds and styles while also keeping his old school vibes and elements intact in his productions. In recent years, this majestic producer has come on strong with his twisted soulful and recently Jazz productions.
Continuing to expose us to his soundscapes, he’s here with this beautiful compilation called “Number Number Session 16 (Jazz Edition)” and this one shows Dzo 729’s strengths to deliver a melodic jazz stunner that feels personal, polished and poignant.
